Surah Al-Qariah, verse 1
ٱلْقَارِعَةُ
The Shocker.
Surah Al-Qariah, verse 2
مَا ٱلْقَارِعَةُ
What is the Shocker?
Surah Al-Qariah, verse 3
وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلْقَارِعَةُ
What will explain to you what the Shocker is?
Surah Al-Qariah, verse 4
يَوْمَ يَكُونُ ٱلنَّاسُ كَٱلْفَرَاشِ ٱلْمَبْثُوثِ
The Day when the people will be like scattered moths.
Surah Al-Qariah, verse 5
وَتَكُونُ ٱلْجِبَالُ كَٱلْعِهْنِ ٱلْمَنفُوشِ
And the mountains will be like tufted wool.
Surah Al-Qariah, verse 6
فَأَمَّا مَن ثَقُلَتْ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ
As for he whose scales are heavy.
Surah Al-Qariah, verse 7
فَهُوَ فِى عِيشَةٍۢ رَّاضِيَةٍۢ
He will be in a pleasant life.
Surah Al-Qariah, verse 8
وَأَمَّا مَنْ خَفَّتْ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ
But as for he whose scales are light.
Surah Al-Qariah, verse 9
فَأُمُّهُۥ هَاوِيَةٌۭ
His home is the Abyss.
Surah Al-Qariah, verse 10
وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا هِيَهْ
Do you know what it is?

نَارٌ حَامِيَةٌۢ
A Raging Fire.
