Surah Al-Buruj, verse 1
وَٱلسَّمَآءِ ذَاتِ ٱلْبُرُوجِ

Surah Al-Buruj, verse 2
وَٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلْمَوْعُودِ
And by the Promised Day.
Surah Al-Buruj, verse 3
وَشَاهِدٍۢ وَمَشْهُودٍۢ
And by the witness and the witnessed.
Surah Al-Buruj, verse 4
قُتِلَ أَصْحَٰبُ ٱلْأُخْدُودِ
Destroyed were the People of the Trench.
Surah Al-Buruj, verse 5
ٱلنَّارِ ذَاتِ ٱلْوَقُودِ
The fire supplied with fuel.
Surah Al-Buruj, verse 6
إِذْ هُمْ عَلَيْهَا قُعُودٌۭ
While they sat around it.
Surah Al-Buruj, verse 7
وَهُمْ عَلَىٰ مَا يَفْعَلُونَ بِٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ شُهُودٌۭ
And were witnessing what they did to the believers.
Surah Al-Buruj, verse 8
وَمَا نَقَمُوا۟ مِنْهُمْ إِلَّآ أَن يُؤْمِنُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ ٱلْعَزِيزِ ٱلْحَمِيدِ
They begrudged them only because they believed in God the Almighty, the Praiseworthy.
Surah Al-Buruj, verse 9
ٱلَّذِى لَهُۥ مُلْكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ شَهِيدٌ
To Whom belongs the sovereignty of the heavens and the earth. God is witness over everything.
Surah Al-Buruj, verse 10
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ فَتَنُوا۟ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَٰتِ ثُمَّ لَمْ يَتُوبُوا۟ فَلَهُمْ عَذَابُ جَهَنَّمَ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابُ ٱلْحَرِيقِ
Those who tempt the believers, men and women, then do not repent; for them is the punishment of Hell; for them is the punishment of Burning.
Surah Al-Buruj, verse 11
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ لَهُمْ جَنَّٰتٌۭ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلْفَوْزُ ٱلْكَبِيرُ
Those who believe and do righteous deeds will have Gardens beneath which rivers flow. That is the great triumph.
Surah Al-Buruj, verse 12
إِنَّ بَطْشَ رَبِّكَ لَشَدِيدٌ
The onslaught of your Lord is severe.
Surah Al-Buruj, verse 13
إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ يُبْدِئُ وَيُعِيدُ
It is He who begins and repeats.
Surah Al-Buruj, verse 14
وَهُوَ ٱلْغَفُورُ ٱلْوَدُودُ
And He is the Forgiving, the Loving.
Surah Al-Buruj, verse 15
ذُو ٱلْعَرْشِ ٱلْمَجِيدُ
Possessor of the Glorious Throne.
Surah Al-Buruj, verse 16
فَعَّالٌۭ لِّمَا يُرِيدُ
Doer of whatever He wills.
Surah Al-Buruj, verse 17
هَلْ أَتَىٰكَ حَدِيثُ ٱلْجُنُودِ
Has there come to you the story of the legions?
Surah Al-Buruj, verse 18
فِرْعَوْنَ وَثَمُودَ
Of Pharaoh and Thamood?
Surah Al-Buruj, verse 19
بَلِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ فِى تَكْذِيبٍۢ
In fact, those who disbelieve are in denial.
Surah Al-Buruj, verse 20
وَٱللَّهُ مِن وَرَآئِهِم مُّحِيطٌۢ
And God encloses them from beyond.
Surah Al-Buruj, verse 21
بَلْ هُوَ قُرْءَانٌۭ مَّجِيدٌۭ
In fact, it is a Glorious Quran.
Surah Al-Buruj, verse 22
فِى لَوْحٍۢ مَّحْفُوظٍۭ
